A MAN has appeared at Bray District Court in connection with the death of another man on Friday night.
John O’Brien (22) from Delgany, Co Wicklow, was found dead on a footpath at Farrankelly Road, which links the N11 and Greystones village. Gardaí were called to the scene after locals witnessed a fight on Friday night.
Thomas O’Connor (22), was charged with recklessly or intentionally causing serious harm to Mr O’Brien. He was remanded in custody to appear again in Bray District Court on Monday June 14th.
Det Sergeant Eamon O’Neill from Bray Garda station said gardaí objected to bail due to the serious nature of the charge and the possibility of further and more serious charges.
