Fire brigade called to tackle blaze at Malahide restaurant

Five tenders, turntable ladder and two senior officers called to scene in north Co Dublin

The blaze at a restaurant in Malahide, Co Dublin, was expected to be brought under control on Thursday night.

Dublin Fire Brigade are bringing a large fire that began at a restaurant in Malahide, Co Dublin, under control.

Dublin Fire Brigade said five fire engines, a turntable ladder and two senior officers are currently on the scene, attempting to put out the fire.

The Nautilus restaurant is located behind Malahide garda station and the main street of Malahide is closed.

A spokesman for Dublin Fire Brigade said there are no reports of any injuries and the fire is expected to be brought under control tonight.
