Gardaí seize €75,000 worth of drugs in Dublin

Tablets, drugs and cash found in planned operation in inner city

A man has been arrested after gardaí seized €75,000 worth of drugs at a house in Dublin today.

Gardaí targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the north city centre carried out a planned operation at a house in Summerhill at about 8.30am, a Garda spokeswoman said.

Prescribed tablets with an estimated street value of €75,000 along with a quanty of cash and other drugs were seized.

A 25-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Mountjoy Garda station under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
