A man is due before Sligo District Court this morning in connection with the seizure of €80,000 worth of cannabis last Monday.
Gardaí stopped a car on the N4 at Castlebaldwin, Ballymote. When the car was searched, they recovered 4kg of cannabis resin.
A woman arrested at the scene was released last night and a file will be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions, a Garda spokesman said.
