Two men were taken to hospital with stab wounds on Tuesday night after being attacked on different streets in Dublin city centre.

Gardaí said they attended the scenes of the incidents on Parnell Street and Henrietta Street at 8pm, “following reports of a disturbance involving a group of males in the area”.

Two men, whose ages are not yet known, were taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital for treatment to apparent stab wounds.

Their conditions are not thought to be life threatening. Gardaí said the incidents are believed to be linked while the scenes have been preserved for examination and enquiries are ongoing.
