A guide to your nearest coronavirus walk-in vaccination centre

Thirty-eight locations to open across 26 counties over August bank holiday weekend

Public health authorities have appealed to people who have yet to be vaccinated to register as soon as possible or attend one of the 38 walk-in centres country wide over the bank holiday weekend.

People will be able to attend for a vaccine shot without an appointment from Friday to bank holiday Monday at certain hours.

State chief medical officer Tony Holohan said “the more people vaccinated in this country, the less opportunity Covid-19 has to inflict severe illness and disruption on us. If you are eligible for a . . . vaccination and have yet to register, please do so as soon as possible.”

Deputy chief medical officer Ronan Glynn said it was vital that as many people as possible take the opportunity to get vaccinated in the weeks ahead.
