Two men remain in hospital following attacks in Dublin at the weekend.
No arrests have been made after the two stabbing incidents in the Temple Bar area of Dublin on Saturday night.
At about 7.30pm, a man in his mid 20s was assaulted by a group of youths on Fleet Street. He was stabbed in the side and face during the incident.
He was removed by ambulance to St James’s Hospital where his condition is not believed to be life- threatening.
About 15 minutes later, a 32-year-old man was approached by two men outside a nightclub on Cope Street.
He was chased onto Angleseas Street where he was stabbed a number of times in the abdomen and face. He was brought to St James’s Hospital where his condition is understood to be serious.
