A man’s body has been found in the cargo hold of a grain ship docked in Waterford port.

A man’s body has been found in the cargo hold of a grain ship docked in Waterford port.

The body was found by men unloading the ship, which left the Ivory Coast for Ireland on August 5th.

The man, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Garda spokeswoman told ireland.comthe body has been taken to the Waterford Regional Hospital at Ardkeen where a post mortem will be done.
