An interim order preventing the husband of a woman, who was murdered last month, from selling the family home in Dundalk was withdrawn by consent at the High Court yesterday.
However, orders restraining Alan White from entering other premises stated to be the property of his late wife, Irene White, at Knocknagoran, Omeath, Co Louth, were continued as was an order restraining Mr White from interfering in any way with any of the assets forming a part of Ms White's estate.
On that basis, Turlough O'Donnell SC, for the mother and daughter of Ms White, who had brought the proceedings against Mr White, asked Mr Justice Kelly to adjourn the case to June 13th next.
The judge said he would make that order.
Ms White was found murdered at the family home at Ice House, Demense Road, Dundalk, Co Louth, on April 6th last.
She died intestate. An interim injunction restraining the sale of Ice House was obtained just days later by Maureen McBride, Ice House, Demense Road - mother of the late Ms White - and Jennifer McBride (17), suing through her grandmother, Maureen McBride, against Mr White, who married the deceased in June 1998.
Mr White was also restrained from entering Ice House or the premises at Knocknagoran, Omeath, and was further restrained from interfering in any way with any assets forming part of the estate of Irene White.
