Cannon fires salvo at Jedward

MINISTER OF State at the Department of Education Ciaran Cannon was heavy of heart after The Late Late Show'sEurosong programme last Friday night. The Minister, we reckon, is not a Jedward fan.

After the hair-raising twins won the right to represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Content in Azerbaijan, a dejected Cannon tweeted: "How have we travelled from the beautifully crafted and exquisitely performed What's Another Yearto this inane muck?" How, indeed.
