WE SEE Tony Heffernan, veteran Labour communications supremo who was coaxed out of retirement for the Michael D Higgins campaign, is back in the fray.
The old hand at Leinster House has joined DHR Communications, where he will be responsible for advising clients on public relations and public affairs strategies. He joins a team which includes managing director Catherine Heaney, a former Labour Party press officer, and chairman Peter Cassells, the former Irish Congress of Trade Union’s general secretary, who advises on “key client accounts”.
