Taoiseach to hold meeting with Spanish prime minister

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny travels to Granada today for a meeting with the Spanish prime minister Mariano Rajoy.

Among the issues that will be discussed are trade, economic reform and budgetary planning.

Mr Kenny will also update Mr Rajoy on progress made during the Irish Presidency of the EU and ambitions for the rest of the term.

While in Granada, the Taoiseach will also meet with German finance minister Wolfgang Schäuble.

Tomorrow, Mr Kenny will travel to Lisbon to meet Portuguese prime minister Pedro Passos Coelho to discuss the economic situation in both countries.
