Three men were last night charged in connection with Cork drug seizures this week.

Three men were last night charged in connection with Cork drug seizures this week.

Mr Michael Tanner (38), from Casement Street, Clonakilty, was charged with possession for sale or supply of €100,000 worth of cocaine at Bawnleigh, Ballinhassig, west Cork, on June 2nd.

Mr Noel Phair (35), of Shannonvale, Clonakilty, was charged with possession for sale or supply of €100,000 worth of cocaine at Ballinhassig on June 2nd, and possession for sale or supply of €1 million worth of cannabis resin at Templebryan South, Shannonvale, on June 3rd.

Mr James Tobin (38), Assumption Place, Clonakilty, was charged with allowing his Ballinhassig house to be used for sale or supply of cocaine on June 2nd.

Garda Insp Sean Healy objected to bail for Mr Tanner at Clonakilty District Court, and Judge Terence Finn remanded him in custody to Bantry District Court next Friday. He remanded Mr Tobin in custody with bail on his own surety of €15,000 and an independent surety of €60,000, to appear at Skibbereen District Court next Tuesday. Mr Phair was released on his bail of €6,000 and an independent surety of €30,000, to appear at Bandon District Court on July 2nd.
