Two men have been remanded on continuing bail after they appeared in court yesterday in connection with two weekend drug seizures by gardaí in Cork with an estimated value of €1.5 million.

Jerome O’Halloran (59), St Joseph’s, Boreenmanna Road, Cork, and Trevor Williamson (46), Carrigaline, Co Cork, are charged with possession and possession for sale or supply of €900,000 worth of cannabis at St Joseph’s, Boreenmanna Road, Cork, on September 28th.

Mr Williamson also faces charges of possession and possession for sale or supply of €600,000 worth of cannabis on Boreenmanna Road, also on September 28th.

At Cork District Court yesterday, Judge Leo Malone remanded both men on bail on bonds of €400 to appear again on November 6th.
