Anthony Albanese was sworn in as Australia's new prime minister on Monday following the Labor Party's success in Saturday's general election. He replaces Scott Morrison after nine years of conservative government.
The country is dealing with a housing affordability crisis and there has been a push for greater climate action which led to unprecedented support for the Greens and climate-focused independents. Do you think the election outcome and Labor's plans will make a significant difference? Is there anything Ireland could learn from Australia on the subject. How should the Australian government act to address climate change?
