An invention whose time has come

Sir, – I’m working on a new invention – the transparent smartphone. It will help users see through the constant stream of disinformation on the internet and, as an added bonus, will allow them keep an eye on where they’re going when walkabout, thereby avoiding collisions with other pavement users, including bicycles, scooters, mopeds, parked cars, fellow browsers, and even pedestrians who haven’t yet resigned themselves to using the road. – Yours, etc,
