Sir, – Last week, I managed to make a brief visit home from Belgium to Dublin (observing Covid rules) and departed Dublin airport on the afternoon of Sunday, December 19th.
To my dismay, although I arrived at the airport almost two hours before departure, my wife and I got stuck in the security line for an hour.
With literally hundreds of passengers in the line, there were only two security lanes open on a Sunday afternoon.
When the number of scheduled flights is known and the number of booked travellers is available, how can it happen that the security system can be so inadequate? – Yours, etc,
