Sir, – In reply to Tomás Finn's letter (April 14th), could I reassure him that the children's hospital project remains in progress, but that the Department of Health cannot believe its good luck. Between Covid and the unfortunate mismanagement of Dr Tony Holohan's career progression, the children's hospital hasn't had a chance of appearing in the headlines.
It would be timely to get a progress report on the project, including the current estimation of the final cost and completion date. – Yours, etc,
