A chara, – It was fascinating to read about the cosmopolitan young couple profiled in "Hipsters and roosters: Making a nest in Stoneybatter" (July 7th). They appear to be carrying the torch for the long tradition of gentrification in Dublin. As James FitzGerald, the first Duke of Leinster, said when building Leinster House on the then unattractive Southside, "Where I go, fashion follows". – Yours, etc,
