Sir, – I have travelled to the Republic of Ireland over a dozen times. I have absolutely no desire to travel to Northern Ireland, where neither side seems to be able to act in a Christian way. I simply wouldn’t feel comfortable. A grassroots effort to put aside long-standing grievances and bitterness and a commitment to make things work would be a good start. – Yours, etc,
