Sir, – Chris Johns's insights into the disruptive effects of the "driverless revolution" are truly fascinating ("Are you ready for the driverless revolution?", Business Features, January 14th).
The disappearance of drink-driving, exorbitantly priced motor insurance, speeding fines and car loans will positively affect our daily lives. The "driverless taxi" will allow passengers to enjoy their journey in peace – free of the usual stream of consciousness emanating from the driver on matters ranging from the current, precarious global geopolitical situation to the quality of Des Cahill's foxtrot on Dancing with the Stars.
