Munster IHC Final/Cork 2-18 Tipperary 2-13: Cork swept to their fourth consecutive Munster Intermediate Hurling Championship title following a hard-fought victory over Tipperary at Páirc Uí Chaoimh yesterday.
The reigning champions led by 1-11 to 1-7 at the interval after Rory O'Dwyer netted three minutes from half-time, only for Joe Dixon to reply with a goal for Tipperary in the final action of the half.
The introduction of Ronan Conway at half-time was an inspired substitution for Cork as he claimed the second goal after 45 minutes.
Ronan O'Brien converted a late Tipperary free for his side's second goal, but it proved too late.
