Another Leinster county on the way down, Offaly’s case is particularly stark. Despite a couple of competitive outings, the league resulted in a quick return to the basement. Unlucky last year to pull Tyrone out of the qualifier hat after rattling Kildare, their draw is kinder this time but of all the counties only London and Carlow are longer odds for the All-Ireland.


Last good day: Reached the 2006 Leinster final, their first in nine years, by beating Wexford.
