Con O’Callaghan returns for Dublin in Leinster clash with Wexford

Still no Evan Comerford as David O’Hanlon lines out in goal in first championship game


Con O’Callaghan returns to the Dublin starting lineup as Dessie Farrell has named his group to take on Wexford on Saturday evening. Four changes in total are made to the side that lost to Monaghan the last time the Dubs lined out.

Lee Gannon and John Small alongside David O’Hanlon and O’Callaghan are the new faces as Michael Shiel, David Byrne, Jonny Cooper and Niall Scully make way. There is still no Evan Comerford in goal.

Dean Rock and Cormac Costello start alongside O’Callaghan in the full-forward line. Ciaran Kilkenny, Brian Howard and Sean Bugler line out behind them in the half-forward line, with Brian Fenton and Tom Lahiff in midfield.

Michael Fitzsimons, Eoin Murchan and Lee Gannon fill out the full-back line with Robert McDaid, John Small and James McCarthy in front of them.
