Leinster hurling final and football semi-finals set for crowds of 18,000

Confirmation of increase in attendance came from Government on Thursday night


Government has announced further increases in attendance limits for upcoming GAA events. The Leinster hurling final between Dublin and Kilkenny and the province’s football semi-finals, Dublin-Meath and Kildare-Westmeath have both been authorised for crowds of 18,000. The matches take place on the same weekend, July 17th and 18th in Croke Park.

Also on Sunday July 18th, the Munster hurling final in Páirc Uí Chaoimh between Limerick and Tipperary has been allowed 7,000 spectators.
