MUNSTER IHC/Cork 1-18 Tipperary 1-12:ALL-IRELAND champions Cork recovered from a slow start to book a place in the semi-final of the intermediate hurling championship with a deserved win at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
The holders trailed 1-4 to 0-1 down after 10 minutes, but nine unanswered points turned the game Cork’s way as they led by 0-10 to 1-6 at the break.
A Michael O’Sullivan goal after 47 minutes consolidated their position and they closed out the game in style.
