Decisions still to be made on Sexton, Lowe and Furlong fitness for semi-final

Leinster set to take on the Bulls in Friday night RDS showdown

Leinster will wait for news on the fitness of Johnny Sexton, James Lowe and Tadhg Furlong before making a decision on their availability ahead of Friday night’s URC semi-final against the Bulls at the RDS. After missing the thumping quarter-final win over Glasgow, Hugo Keenan will be fit for the weekend as the province has announced his return to training.

Sexton and Lowe also missed that game while tighthead prop Furlong was withdrawn during it due to a back injury. All three are set to be assessed later this week ahead of Friday’s game. Ross Byrne started at outhalf against Glasgow while Rory O’Loughlin played in Lowe’s usual left wing slot.

Rónan Kelleher has been confirmed as ruled out of the Bulls clash as he continues to recover from the shoulder injury picked up in the Champions Cup final.
