Leinster's Adam Byrne and Peter Dooley look set to move west to Connacht next season, according to Bernard Jackman. Speaking on The42's Rugby Weekly podcast, the former Leinster and Connacht hooker broke the news of the impending moves.
The pair are not the only players moving across the country with lock/backrow Josh Murphy already confirmed as having committed to Connacht for next season.
Byrne, the wing who has been capped once for Ireland, has scored 24 tries in 63 appearances for Leinster but has had a torrid time with injuries in his career. He recently returned from a 21-month spell out last October.
Prop Dooley has been involved in Ireland camps before but is yet to be capped. He is currently sitting on 99 Leinster appearances and is likely to reach his century before he departs his native province.
In other news for Leinster, both Harry Byrne and Ryan Baird have become the latest to sign new deals with the URC champions. Byrne's signing follows that of his older brother Ross as the pair look set to continue their battle for the role of Johnny Sexton's understudy, though Harry of late has seen game time at 12.
