Business magazine Forbes is featuring an online "best of the Web" article that highlights jewellery retailers on the Internet. Right up there at the top of their top 10 - and getting a Forbes "best of the Web" special accolade - is Ireland's own Adornis.com. Unfortunately, the site is offline for what owner Mr Declan Ganley says is a remake - right during the holiday shopping period. Ouch.

Odd, though, that for weeks now typing in the site address has only returned a standard "page cannot be displayed" message - the official black hole of the Internet. Surely it would be better to keep an Adornis.com homepage up to let potential shoppers know about the remake, rather than have them guess the site no longer exists?
