BRITISH sweets and soft drinks group Cadbury Schweppes yesterday announced it intended to sell its controlling stake in its joint UK bottling venture with American drinks giant Coca Cola. The company said it had agreed to sell its 51 per cent interest in Coca Cola & Schweppes Beverages, the bottling and distribution company for Cadbury and Coca Cola UK brands, for £620 million sterling to Coca Cola Enterprises.
