The Irish Council for Civil Liberties took its first steps into cyberspace with the launch of its new website (www.iccl.ie) at an event in the Law Library Distillery Building. The council, which conducts human rights and civil liberties campaigns, has structured the website around its main policy concerns. It includes a comprehensive archive of all of its documents and policy statements since its foundation in 1976. Apart from being an informative window on the work of ICCL it should also prove to be an useful research tool for those with an interest in civil liberties.
The site promises to be regularly updated, and has been specially designed to cater for people with visual impairments.
