€2.2m for Clontarf housing site

CBRE and McCabe Auctioneers have secured €2.2 million at auction for a housing site of 0.47 of a hectare (1.16 acres) at Dollymount Avenue in Clontarf, Dublin 5. The price works out at €157,000 for individual house sites.

The site has full planning permission for 14 houses – 12 semi-detached, one detached and one reinstatement of an existing dwelling. Thirteen of the four-bed houses will have a floor area of 250sq m and one two-bed will extend to 120sq m. The planning permission has been extended to August 2017.
