The Co Wicklow mobile home holiday park, Jack’s Hole Beach Resort in Brittas Bay, is to be offered for sale through CBRE.
Willie Norse of the selling agents is guiding €2,250,000 for the park, which extends to 4.86 hectares (12 acres) and includes a private beach, 71 mobile home stands, two tennis courts, a games room, children's play areas, a boat slip, boat moorings and facilities for water sports.
The park has been continuously upgraded since it opened almost 20 years ago and has only one vacant mobile home stand out of the 71 designated sites next to the beach. Though details of the full rental income were not immediately available, the figure is expected to be in excess of €400,000. The annual rent for a mobile home stands is €8,000.
Norse said they were expecting strong interest in the park from operators of similar facilities as well as from investors because of the rarity of such sales and the popularity of Brittas Bay.
It is about 40 minutes’ drive from Dublin on the N11 and is almost half way between the towns of Wicklow and Arklow. Brittas Bay is also within easy reach of a number of golf courses including The European Club, Blainroe, Wicklow and Arklow.
Jack’s Hole adjoins Malachy Stone’s Ballinacarrig Holiday Park which is considerably larger and includes a nine-hole golf course.
