Site of 2.34 acres could accommodate up to 48 apartments in top southside setting

The 2.34 acre site off Monkstown Road in Co Dublin sold for €5m

A local property developer has paid more than €5 million for a well-located site for possibly up to 48 apartments beside Monkstown village in south Dublin. Jill Horan of Savills handled the sale of the Richmond Cheshire Home off Monks town Road which stands on a site of 0.95 of a hectare (2.34 acres). The single storey complex with 18 bedrooms extends to 1,581sq m (17,022sq ft). There are also five studio apartments to the rear.

The Cheshire Foundation says it is following HSE policy of moving service users with disabilities from a central location into the community.
