DTZ Sherry FitzGerald has secured a little more than the guide price of €3 million for 34 acres of housing and high-amenity land on the Blackcastle Demesne on the northern banks of the river Boyne in Navan.

Most of the original estate, running between Slane Road and the Boyne, accommodates housing estates developed in the boom.

The land recently sold has two zoning objectives.

DTZ estimates that 16.85 acres is suitable for housing up to 2019 and that the balance of 17.14 acres will be designated high-amenity lands.
