A Dublin investor has paid just over the asking price of €1.25 million for a restaurant and overhead apartment in the centre of Sandymount village, Dublin 4. The 375sq m (4,040sq ft) property at 7 Sandymount Green includes Pete's restaurant, which pays a rent of €40,000 for the ground and basement areas.

The restaurant is fitted out to a high spec and includes an open-plan dining area, wine bar and pizza oven. The main kitchen is in the basement.
