Computer company Compaq has secured a five-year contract - believed to be worth £10-£15 million - to manage the IT infrastructure and application support for mobile phone company, Eircell. Under the terms of the contract, a team of more than 40 Compaq staff will maintain Eircell's desktop, server and network environments as well as support for more than 50 software applications.
