The venture capital fund Delta Partners has invested £500,000 in the telecommunications software company, Aersoft, set up late last year by two former Aldiscon executives.

The investment gives Delta Partners a 33 per cent stake in the company which plans to produce value added platforms for products using digital cellular technology.

The company hopes to have its first software product on the US market within the next nine to 12 months. The company was set up by the former marketing manager of Aldiscon, Mr James Doyle and the chief engineer, Mr Neilus O'Shea.
