A new third-level higher education scheme has been established by the Dublin Docklands Development Authority (DDDA) and the Reuters Foundation, the charitable arm of the Reuters Group.

The scheme will provide four third-level scholarships this year to people in the local area, but expects this to increase in future years. Two of the scholarships will be in the disciplines of economics and business studies.
