Changes to One51's board of directors

Investment company One51 has announced a number of board changes including the retirement of chairman Denis Buckley

Investment company One51 has announced a number of board changes including the retirement of chairman Denis Buckley. He will be replaced by Denis Cregan.

Mr Cregan is currently chairman of Kerry Airport. He is a retired director of Kerry Group and has previously worked with the Department of Finance, Express Foods and Grand Metropolitan Hotels. He is also a director of Tourism Ireland.

Michael Long has retired as executive board director, with Pat Dalton assuming his role. Mr Dalton was appointed chief financial officer of the company last February. He was formerly chief financial officer at Bord Gáis, Debis AirFinance and Menolly Property, having started his career in PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1987.

Rose Hynes has been appointed senior independent director. She is currently chairwoman of Bord Gáis and the Shannon Airport Authority. She is also a director of Total Produce.

One51 sold plastic extrusion business Enplast and its 4.4 per cent stake in elearning firm Thirdforce in October, part of ongoing rationalisations. One51’s net debt stood at €100.5 million at the end of June 2012.
