Although the second largest of the Canary Islands, Fuerteventura is the least well known and least commercialised. It has less in the way of facilities, compared to Tenerife, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria, but it makes up for it in scenery and tranquility.

With fewer nightclubs, bars and restaurants available, holiday-makers at the island tend to be slightly older than at the other resorts. Flights with JWT depart from Dublin and Cork on Sundays and Mondays.
