The National Centre for Laser Applications at NUI, Galway is hosting a conference next Thursday entitled: Medical Device Manufacturing (II). This year's event features presentations from domestic and international speakers on a range of topics from interventional cardiology to protection of intellectual property.

The conference will mark the official launch of the NCLA's ultra-violet laser micro-machining centre, and a showcase of university level research and development for the healthcare industry.
