The Irish directors of Garban Ireland, the inter-dealer broker to the six primary dealers on the Irish bond market, have taken sole control of the company. The three directors - Mr Jack Grehan, Mr Colm Daly and Mr Bill Casey - owned 49 per cent of Garban Ireland but have now bought the 51 per cent stake held by the British securities house, Garban Intercapital.

The inter-dealer broker acts as the intermediary between the six primary dealers in Irish Government bonds.
