Golden Vale has announced the appointment of two members to its management team. The appointments are Mr Con Lucey as executive director, cheese and spreads division and Mr Sexton Cahill as director of human resources.

As executive director of the group's cheese and spreads division, Mr Lucey will be responsible for Golden Vale's activities in processed and natural cheeses, dairy spreads, industrial margarines and retail markets.

Prior to joining Golden Vale he was senior account manager with Green Isle Foods where he spent ten years in several senior operational and general management positions.

Mr Cahill as director of human resources will be responsible for group personnel management and for group policy on training and development.
