Fail Cork TD, Bat O'Keeffe, thought he had uncovered yet another leak at the Department of Finance when he quizzed junior minister Hugh Coveney in the Dail regarding the nationally important matter of "the nature of the work carried out on the Minister of State's bathroom in the Department of Finance". Or was it an attempt by the FF TD to embarrass his FG constituency colleague. But not to be fooled, cute Cork minister Coveney made it quite clear in reply that the bathroom renovations were not done in his office, but that of Finance's other Minister of State, Avril Doyle.
