IFG chief executive Mr Richard Hayes received a pay package last year of #450,000, with more than half his remuneration coming from a #228,000 bonus. Executive director Mr Paul Gardner-Bougaard received #361,000, Mr Victor Quigley #342,000 and Mr Donal Lynch #202,000.

Bord Gais has awarded a #30 million contract to an Italian steel-maker to supply piping for its new interconnector between the Republic and Scotland after a competitive tendering process.
