Dundalk-based computer firm iQon Technologies is to create 37 new jobs as part of an expansion, writes Elaine Keogh.
The company, which is one of the State's largest indigenous manufacturers of PCs, expects to treble its turnover and output by the end of 2004 as a result of the €4 million investment.
The company is supported by Enterprise Ireland and its executive director, Mr Gerry Murray, said iQon Technologies had achieved impressive growth in the UK in the last two years and its management team "is strongly committed to building on this."
The expansion will bring to 70 the number employed by the company by the end of 2004.
