An Irishman has been appointed managing director of the largest outdoor poster advertising firm in Europe.

Mr Colm O Cuilleanain (right) from Dublin has been appointed chief of the Avenir Group, the poster advertising division of Havas Media Communication which has a £210 million annual turnover. Its Irish subsidiary is David Allen Ltd. Mr O Cuilleanain previously worked in Mills & Allen in Britain and before that was head of David Allen Ltd in Ireland.
