A jury was sworn yesterday to hear a High Court action taken by two brothers and insurance consultants against the Irish Brokers' Association. The trial proper, before Mr Justice Budd and a jury, will not begin until this afternoon at the earliest.

The proceedings have been taken by Mr Albert Dawson and his brother, Mr Dudley Dawson, trading as A.E. Dawson and Son of Maywood, Raheny, Dublin, against the IBA. Both brothers are representing themselves in court.

After the jury was sworn in yesterday, Mr Justice Budd informed them that they would not be required until the afternoon. Later the judge told the jury they would not be required until today.
