TWO for the price of one. That was among the issues in recent complaints examined by the Advertising Standards Authority.
Abrakebabra had an offer of two Doner kebabs for the price of one before 10 p.m. But a customer at one branch was told that the offer only applied until 5 p.m. at that outlet.
The authority upheld the complaint but said the franchise had failed to honour its obligation under the promotion without Abrakebabra's knowledge. Compensation was offered. Whether it was by way of kebab, burger or cash was not disclosed.
